Haven't seen this. What version of Vegas are you using, other details, etc.

I"ve seen this problem since vegas 4.0a. when you have a crossfade on a clip which is very close (less than 2-3 frames) to the back end of the prior audio clip, and you move the prior clip whist having "ripple" turned on, the fade reverts to a cut. I use these fades to smooth out breath edits. It's embarassing to playback a project and hear the annoying breaths now chopping on, rather than fading up. It seems that if the clip with the fade is more than 3 frams away from the prior, this problem doesn't occur.

Windows10 with Vegas 11 Pro (most recent build). Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.40GHz 3.90 GHz, 32GB ram, separate audio and video disks. Also Vegas 17 Pro on same system. GPU: NVDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER. Dynamic RAM preview=OFF.

yep...I think thats from touching the event somehow. A glitch which just randomely kills transitions isn't anything I've heard of yet...or experienced.
