Very nicely done. Plot was awesome and catchy. What kind of camera did you use to film this with?

I also really dug the music.
And since we're talking about sound, I thought the dialogue was nice and clear, what sort of mic was used?

I really enjoyed this. 30 seconds into it I forgot about watching the technical aspects of it and got into the story and characters...just like a real movie.

Very well done.

I forgot I was viewing a first piece! . . I was really caught up in it . . and not a little embarrassed for the Ass .. ! I was about to reach for the mouse to click it off . . you worked your magic on me anyway - it had the desired effect .. how little one needs to make an effective and communicative piece . .

Grumbles? . .Titles at the end "appearing" over the actors .. kinda irritated me . . oh, and also, I wanted to see the separate letters "quiver" to the Bass line from the Take 5 piece .. yeah it would take a lot of work .. well maybe not . .

Great stuff!

Cooldraft, imagine my shock when your movie started and I recognized the Oklahoma City Museum of Art! Guess you're one of my homeboys here...

Great first effort, nicely done. I'd like some specs on camera(s) and mic(s)....

Also, watching the end credits, I was startled at first when I saw Sonya Bell's name because I thought it said SONY A. BELL. I figured: Wow, Sony's into everything these days, including first names.

But hell, it was 4:30 AM when I watched the clip...

Again, nicely done!

Sony VX2100

I used a Sony wcs-999. I will never use this mic again in an uncontrolled environment. It is the best FM mic that I could get. I got some cell phone interference, etc. Made it hell in post, but I think I cleared most of it.

What aggrivated you with the credit sequence, the placement of the text?
Cooldraft wrote on 11/22/2004, 7:21 PM
Thanks very much. I am looking for screenplays to start my next 'try'. I used the Sony VX2100, and wcs-999-lav mic, and Audio Technica Atr55 boom mic. Shoot me an email via my site.

Congrats !

I got a small criticism, I think the credits at the end are a bit too long for a film that is short, the idea to see them have dinner is nice but it could be a little shorter. Other than that I liked it a lot !
