My system keeps crashing Vegas Pro 16 with Mocha

Ryan-Elias wrote on 3/19/2019, 11:01 PM

Incredibly frustrated with frequent crashing. I've been losing project progress and now it appears all vegas files saved after restore/relaunch show errors, too. I need real support from Vegas and am unable to find a way to get it in the evenings when I work. How do I go about getting some help? Thanks.

Vegas Version 16.0.0.361

BorisFX Mocha 2019

Sys Info below, at least the initial systems detail. GPU is Intel UHD Graphics 630

Footage is from Canon M2, 30 Fps 1080p

It crashes after a couple of tracking instances in Mocha, either before the next tracked clip or after closing the UI back into Vegas. Vegas completely hangs then closes. Re-opens with error message offering to re-open an auto saved version.

Suggest that you also post this issue on Boris FX's forum so as to widen the pool of possible help.

Also, your system data shows that you are in the USA (possibly west coast). As Boris FX is based in the USA (east coast), and given that you have Mocha Pro 2019, you would likely be currently on the upgrade/support plan for Mocha Pro 2019, consider contacting Boris FX for support as well. It might be a Mocha Pro based problem with your computer's configuration as much as it might be a Vegas Pro problem.

For me, Mocha Pro 2019 works fine on Vegas Pro 16 (b361) thus far.

Edit: Also, make sure that you have Mocha Pro 6.0.2 installed.
