Well, I was reasonably happy with V5. Not as stable as V4 but I guess, V4 was an exception in software rather than the norm.
Last night, I left a 57 minute project to render to MPEG2 overnight. This morning it was sitting at 94%. The render counter was ticking away but no CPU activity. A reboot, start again, same thing.
Tried another project. Had to be finished today. Project is long - 2hrs 45 minutes.
For the first time for me, Print to tape caused the V5 to crash. This was during w64 render. Tried three times.
I know, I should reinstall but why? No changes to hardware or software have taken place since V5 installation.
I am just wondering why the dll vegas50k.dll is causing system crash
Is there a bug in their code.
p.s. Since then, I have found a work around to finish the project. I had to build another veg file. So the problem is not my pc.
