My Vegas can't read/see QT PICT sequence files

But the guy who sent them to me claims that he can see it in Vegas on HIS PC.

I have QT installed. ANd I can open up these files in individual QT players with no problem. But Vegas keeps saying "unknown" when I attempt to open these files.

Any ideas?

Do you have the Quicktime authoring components on your machine?

I don't have the authoring components for QT, but my friend just told he he didn't either.

The authoring components have automatically been installed the past two machines I installed on. At least viewing the install messages/files said it was the authoring components.

Use IRFANVIEW to convert the files to another format. The import that.
