My Vegas Movie Studio 17 doesn't work on Windows 11

I wanted to get back into video editing, so I reinstalled the Vegas Movie Studio Suite 17, which I got back in 2020, onto my new laptop. I got everything situated, and then I started the application. It would start the application, and while it's loading, it will say "ASIO Driver Magix Low Latency 2016 . . ." and then stop loading. I don't even get to click on anything or be able to do anything, it just stops in the middle of loading. I restarted my laptop, and that didn't work. I have an 8 GB graphics card, 32.0 GB of installed RAM with a speed of 7467 MHz, 954 GB of storage, and an Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 155H processor with 3.8 GHz.

I'm pretty sure I have the specs, but it still won't load. When I did my research, I found out that old applications don't work on new systems like Windows 11, and it seemed like I really couldn't do anything.

My question is if I could get a working version for Windows 11, or if there's something I am missing that I can fix. It really sucks if it is what it is and I have to spend more money to upgrade. At that point, I don't even think it's worth it.

@Gabriel-Durazo I'm on Windows 10 so I don't know exactly, ASIO is mentioned in the Vegas loading window as standard but Google -

ASIO driver windows 11 ?

ASIO (Audio Stream Input/Output) drivers are essential for low-latency audio performance, particularly in digital audio workstations (DAWs) and music production. While native ASIO support is planned for Windows 11 in late 2025, currently, you'll need to install ASIO drivers separately, often provided by your audio interface manufacturer or by using a third-party driver like ASIO4ALL

PS. I've no idea if loading these drivers will allow Vegas Movie Studio 17 to load for you.

My Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum works okay on Win 11.

My system has Realtek ASIO installed. I don't know if that relates. @Gabriel-Durazo Suggest you lodge a support request. Also search this forum for "ASIO" as there are several threads that might help.
