My video looks fuzzy? Did I forget something?

I took some film using the sony digital handycam DCR-TRV17 NTSC miniDV
when I watch it on my computer screen Dell trinitron 19 inch . Using screenblast movie studio 3.0 the frames showing in the video screen on the lower right are clean and clear. However when you double click on that screen it opens up the video to a double the size. But its all fuzzy looking.
Will the final dvd movie I'm making look that way on the computer and will it look even worse on a tv screen?
When I plug the camera into a TV directly it looks nice and clear, I'm confused. Is there a set rule of settings that I haven't learned about ? What is the answer?

The screen is preview quality unless you activate the hidden internal properties window. There you can set it so you can watch in full quality.
Search for internal preferences and you should be able to find directions and cautions. Also this in no way effects the final output.

Hi, I had this problem when I was new....click" show at screen size." That is what you will end up with....the other views are zoomed in and pxilated. also it depends how big you have dragged your screen to.So to get back to normal choose show at screen size. Also if you are filming stills, be careful with the edges, I found they show more than what you see in your camera viewer and I ended up having to crop lots of stuff.
