My Video Size

The videos i add to my timeline all come out the way you see in the preview and i don't know how to change it. Makes editing harder and whenever i render the video the view size is really small.Like making a small video with a huge black background.

Probably your projectsettings are not right and VMS render to the same projectsettings with Make Movie. You have to set the properties to the same format as your most used media through this button:

Probably there was also a PIPfx attached to the videotrack (and also to the text track). The trackfx buttons are all greyed, means an effect is attached. According your preview it's the PIPfx.

I"m guessing you right-clicked in the Preview window and selected "Scale Video to Fit Preview Window"? And selecting Good>Auto or Best>Auto from the Preview window drop-down list will ensure it doesn't look pixellated.
