My work-around for Vegas 11 & Titler Pro crashes

I made a discovery today that I thought I'd share in case it helps anyone else. Before this, anytime I would drag the Titler Pro effect down to a track, my Vegas 11 would crash instantly.

I figured out that disabling my 2nd display fixed my problem. This is obviously not a good solution. BUT, I also figured out that I could use both displays if I force the pop-up media generator dialog box that opens when the effect is dropped on the timeline to open on the same monitor that Vegas is running on. By default, this dialog box was opening on my 2nd monitor. For whatever reason, it's only the "opening" of this Titler Pro dialog box that makes mine crash. Once it's open, I can drag it to my other monitor and work away just fine.

To force the dialog box to open on the same monitor, I just dragged any other generated media down to a track and drag that dialog box to the same monitor that Vegas is on. Vegas then remembers this the next time something else is dragged down. I'm not sure if this is the best work-around, but it's simple and it works for me, until Sony fixes this.

FYI, I have an ATI Radeon 5700HD series card with the latest drivers dated 4/5/2012. My two displays are not the same and have different resolution settings. (Not that this should matter.) Also, running Windows 7 64bit , and I tried all the compatibility modes. Very stable other than this issue and a Wacom driver issue.
