Hey. I am a total newbie to VV3 (As you guys call it). I want to do something very simple in my mind but it seems I cannot figure out how to do it in real life! Ok I have a video that I was hired to edit (Infact they paid for VV3!) I want to take a part of my video... take a specific section, lets say second 15 to 25 and make that section have less frames per second, then when it gets to second 26 it goes back to whatever I had it as. So like in the middle of the movie it will then make things look like they are going much faster than it really is! I can use the slider thing to speed up the video when I am playing it back and making it though I want to know how can I just make a certian part do it? If this cannot be done then please put it on the list of things they need to do for VV4. :) Thanks!

Chad,

Pretty brave doing a pay project on new software. :)

You need to use the Velocity Envelope. I believe the help file and manual have information on this, but it allows you to vary the speed up or down at any point along the video using an envelope (similar to audio envelopes for volume).

Hey man thats what Broken Formula is all about! Testing our mental and physical capacities. :) I learn quickly but couldn't figure this part out! Hey I will look into it and let you know if your a genius or not. ;) I think you are. You are much better than I at this. Though I am always learning and was on ACID DJ for quite some time and still am learning that mother.
