Take the hotel shuttles if you can. Don't rent a car unless you're travelling with one or more companions and they're all chipping in.

well another point is how my flights work out.

I arrive well before check in and leave well after check out......So I like the idea of having my luggage in a car.

I'm flying in tonight, but plan on using cabs and shuttles if needed. If I get desperate enough, might even try a bicycle:)

Cabs can be very hard to find during NAB.

If you have a car, there is usually easy parking in the open air parking lot just west of the main entrance to the Convention Center.

If your hotel doesn't have a shuttle, see if you can walk to a hotel that does.

The same thing happened to me last year. The hotel was quite willing to store my bags both before and after check in/out (in a secured area).
