NAB video streams for dialup users

With permission from Liam of the SCVUG, I have taken the NAB DVDA2 video stream, carried out some careful editing to get rid of coughs, hesitations etc but leave content intact, re-rendered to a low frame rate (1fps) and cut the file size from 90MB to 9MB, which should be small enough for some of you dial-up modem users to consider downloading.

The content or the seminars is good enough that the reduced vid quality doesn't spoil it too much (in my opinion). Particularly if you have the the software installed, then you can leave the tutorial playing in media player and work through some of the excercises.

Downloads of the dialup version and links to the originals can be found on this site

Ok, I've just added the V5 dialup vid to the same page.

Liam - made the correction on the titles on the dvda2 vid - didn't realise it had done this, sorry. fixed now.

Also, I wouldn't know who to ask, but do you think it would be possible for the veg files and media used in the seminars at NAB to be made availabe? Then users can follow the seminar along with the trial/full version of V5 and DVDA2.

ps dvda dialup = 9mb, v5 dialup = 7mb

On the veg files for the seminar. We did ask Sony at the show if we could have access to the files exactly for this reason... someone needed to check if that was going to be possible... and we never got around to doing it.

I'll see if I can find out from Gary if that is going to be possible... but I cannot promise anything.
