Well, yes .. IF you are quick!!

I use the M key to tap markers in while playing - this to get stuff to the beat. OK .. Now open Edit Details and select SHOW > Markers. Now and as you allow the T/L Cursor to roll, you can HIT the M key and get a NEW line in Edit Details View. OK .. here's the crafty part. You need to return to giving Focus to the Track> ALT+0 does this NOW you can hit M again, get a new line in EDV and TYPE what you want. NEXT hit ALT+0 and back to Track Focus> Now hot M .. go to EDV enter your text .. .and so on and so on.

Having ALT+0 as a Toolbar Icon could help?

Anyways, nice question . . hope this helps. You need to be a bit fast though. Just done this and it is possible.

In fact:

Alt+0 for Track

Alt+6 for EDV

Set these up as toolbar Icons OR as temporary Mouse Click options?

TF = Track Focus

EDV = Edit Details View ( remember to set to Show: Markers!)

So, the sequence is:

1 - TF - Hit M for Marker

2 - EDV - Write text in first marker line > Pres down arrow ( you SHOULD see your text at Marker1 )

3 - TF - Hit M

4 - EDV - Write text in first marker line > Pres down arrow ( you SHOULD see your text at Marker2 )

. .and so on , ..

I just did this WITH Alt+0 and Alt+6 and I was getting good too!
