Yes. You can name them whatever you want as long as you don't change the file extension.

Errmmm... Is it possible that the name of a JS might be used some where else? For example, script one called "Grazie1" is used "within" another script called "Grazie2". Now, if I change Grazie1's name to Grazie3 - will Grazie2 go looking for Grazie1 and get confused? If this isn't the case OR wasn't the "core" of the original post - apologies.

Not "within" another script. However, it could get confusing if the same script has two names, someone offers the second script to help someone, and they already have the first script.
