navigate 1 frame forward or back

The ability to go forward and backward one frame during editing at a time is desperately needed in both vegas and movie studio.

Can you not zoom in on the video track and get down to frame level? I don't have the software in front of me so I can't try it.

ALT left and right arrows does it. Why is it desparately needed? It's a feature I've never used.

Just click on the + button under and to the right side. Keep clicking until you zoom all the way until you get white space between the images. You are now at the single frame view. It's very simple.
I had one frame at the very end of a captured scene that was totally bad. It was easy to just delete this one frame and not remove any additional frames.
