Navigation button colors

I have spent 3 hours in DVDA-3 trying to figure out how to change the color of the navigation buttons (back, next, previous, etc.). The color sets don't seem to be the place. I'm getting black buttons on a black background. This should be simple, but I sure can't find it. I believe I've done my time reading the manual - time to ask for help.

Hopefully, the real expert will be able to help you out. In the meantime, if you click on the button and in the right pane (button properties) go to - media - frame properties - frame media - effects - colorized, you can change the color of the arrows' highlights. Choose full opacity, you'll still pick up the color from the background, but the button will have some color. To really change the shading of the button (ie to make it a solid color), I suspect you would have to edit the .png file that contains the button shape.

I believe nolonemo is correct -- if you don't want a blue arrow, use another arrow, though the way many of the defaults use frames, might get away with one background png, keeping everything else identical.

With the background selected you can set the color sets to use for each of 3 button states for all buttons on that menu page. Each set has 4 colors -- the 4th, transparency color is more or less irrelevant, as long as transparency is cranked all the way. The 1st represents the fill, 2nd & 3rd the blending more or less.
