Navigation in PowerDVD etc

I made a DVD with Vegas/DVD-A but I cannot use the seek bar style navigation feature in PowerDVD. Most (but not all) commercial DVDs allow me to jump to any point in the video using the seek bar. Is there a way to encode my movies so they are seekable? I vaguely recall something about "indexing" the mpeg file to get this to work. I was hoping this feature was built into Vegas/DVD-A.

Just to clarify, when I say "seek bar", I mean scrubbing within my DVD application. Works in commercial DVD's but not the one's I've made using DVD-A.

I just tried this in a DVD I created yesterday using latest version of DVD-A and Power DVD version 3.0. It seems to work ok for me. I can see the video go by rather rapidly while using the Navigational Slider on the bottom left of the interface using Power DVD.

After upgrading to DVD-A 1.0b it worked. I can now use the scrubber in PowerDVD. Thanks for the tip!
