NB Titler Pro Express makes very much rubbish

Cornico wrote on 11/25/2016, 6:43 AM

Why makes the Titler Pro Express that came with Vegas Pro 14 such enormous tempory files in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp.

Sometimes after 15 minutes experimenting with the program more than 7 GB!!!
Those files are not automatic deleted by the program and I don't know with what intervals Windows cleans those files.
Sometimes I had to delete more than 15GB by hand.

If Titler Express is based on Titler Pro 4 then I would guess that may be the caching feature of Titler. The cache is a pre-render of the title.

NewBlue does use the temp folder for the cache files and they do not delete them so the next time you open the project the cache files are still there. I don't know if Titler has a cache management feature to delete cached titles that have not been touched/used in a given period of time. They certainly do not give us any preferences to control the cache. Without control the cache just gets bigger and bigger and bigger.

Okay, Titler Express has the cache features of Titler Pro 4 which I have and know.

That is not exactly cache management as I was thinking. Once cached does the cache render stay on disk forever. Without control/management the cache just gets bigger and bigger and bigger over time because nothing is ever deleted.

Something along these lines this is what I was thinking about. Delete after time unused. Clear the cache.

Is it exactly placed at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\Titler Pro ?

Mine is 710MB...

Is it safe to delete this folder?

The "cache settings" are retained, of course not the "cache actions"
And when i use "optimized for disk space", the temp folder has only 45 KB after some work

Thanks Quitter...

As for caching process..., I have better result if caching is off. When turned on, sometimes the texts goes flicker or weird...
