Neat video latest version

I'm thinking about buying the latest version of neat video v5. I currently have version 2.6. Do you really think it's worth it? Do you get better results?

2.6 does not use GPU so since version 3 NeatVideo is way faster.

Also, with the latest version (5) is much easier to get good results as while you building profile it is automatically analyze nearest frames.

However, I'd say that the quality is about the same. It is just easier and faster you can get it using the new version.

P.S. You can always download and try demo version.

Not necessarily better results but certainly faster ones with suitable graphics cards for which it is now optimized. 😃

True, rendering with cpu the process is very long. I will buy version 5.
I have seen on their website and they have confirmed from their website that the home version can only be with 1920x1080, while the pro version can with 4k. The price is 55 dollars more expensive pro.

It seems true to you? Or the home version can with 4k just like the pro?

Why do you think the information incorrect? It is published on the dev's web site.

P.S. If you have version 2.6 you should be eligible for upgrade discount.

Because someone told me that version 2.6 is similar to 5 and when 2.6 was developed, 4k did not exist. Then, version 2.6 would be very inferior to version.5 pro.

Maybe I have not understood something.

Unfortunately, I have not used version 2.6 personally. Started with Neat Video from version 3.0

I believe, you should ask this in their forum. Neat Video devs replying fast and accurate.

The note from the NeatVideo website:

»All editions of Neat Video can be applied to footage with any frame size,
but actual filtration in the Demo and Home editions is applied to a part of
each frame when the frame is larger than the specified limit.«
