Neat Video not 64 bit...

I posted to the NeatVideo forums why they don't have a 64 bit version of their plugin and this was the response I received:

Well, I guess Vegas developers have to update the software development kit (not updated since 2003-2004) to support new features of Vegas like the 64-bit version. Without that kit updated, plug-in developers cannot do much to support these features...

So that begs the question: Why haven't the Vegas development team provided an updated development kit for Vegas????

There is a SDK for 8.0 for download. But none for 8.1.

There are several companies making 8.1 compatible plugins now. How did they do it?

There is no updated SDK for 64-bit. See this thread for a previous discussion on the topic. You can build 64-bit plug-ins with the existing SDK. The developers need to be familiar with 64-bit development though.

@xberk: The SDK for Vegas Pro 8.1 is the same as 8.0, and the same as for VMS...
