NeatVideo doesn’t appear in FX after installing the demo

As the title says. I tried it on my pc and laptop. I didn't previously have any Neatvideo version ever. I was thinking of getting it, glad I tried the demo first!

I've also contacted NeatVideo support. They said to look for “Reduce Noise v5”, cant see it either.

I did establish that the dll installed on C:\ProgramData\Magix\Common\VfxPlugins

i.e. NeatVideo5.dll and .vsx.

Do you use the special Vegas Plugin of Neat?

With me no problem to use it in all my installed versions, but I don't see anything on your location

Hi @j-v, its the Demo only that I installed, you may have the full version. Can you show a screen grab similar to my first post of the FX with NeatVideo in it, I think it should appear between “Hitfilm” and “OFX”, thanks.

I installed the demo also on vp15 on an old PC, I still can’t see it!

Yess I can, but it is not named Neat video but Reduce Noise version 5

@j-v, This is a similar screen grab to yours above, starting with "Mirror". In your screen grab Neat Video appears after "Mirror" and "Reduce Noise v5" appears between Rays and Saturation adjust, but not with mine.

Neat video is the old plugin for version 3 I believe that I used a way back with sources of DV and HDV cams, but all those files that needed it in the past I rendered later out to AVC mp4 and now I don't need Neat video anymore because my cams do not suffer under noise.

I do not have 'Reduce Noise 5" appeared on 'Third Party' list. It is only on OFX list and also displayed on root FX list with all filters.

P.S. 'NetaVideo' that is v3 and 'Reduce Noise v4' are on the 'Third Party' list.

This is the bottom half of the OFX list, nothing there either, it would/should appear from N onwards, either "Neat Video" or "Reduce noise v5", N to R.

Perhaps someone else who, like myself doesn’t already have any Neat Video ever installed, could try installing the demo?

I saw the error of my ways! I decided to go to the download page to add the link to my post just above, when the penny dropped. I had previously downloaded the “Magix” demo, not the “Vegas” demo.

Reduce noise v5 is now there. Thanks @j-v and @fifonik for your help.

I just checked my email, intending to inform NeatVideo support that issue resolved, saw this from them, sent a few hours ago😂 ...

“Please download and install the Demo plug-in for Vegas,

not Demo plug-in for Magix. Those are different plug-is.”
