Need a script for Match Events Length of Generated Media.

when we add any generated media and it comes on timeline with its fix length.

But sometimes we need to extend it or shrink it. then it start looping. so we need to Match Event Length in that media generator option.

but it is lengthy task for multiple clips.

so need a script for that.

As you go through the events. I would only look at "selected" events. Then you can see if it's a generated media. If it is, you change the length of the "media" to be the length of the "event".

                        if (evnt.ActiveTake.Media.IsGenerated())
                        {
                            evnt.ActiveTake.Media.Length = evnt.Length;

@Gid Edward has a standard script for scanning events through all tracks. He's saying that, as you scan the events and one happens to be a generated media event, that bit of code can be inserted.

@Jack S Thanks, I was looking for a script that when multiple Media Generated events are on the timeline & they're all selected one click of a script would 'Match Event Length', otherwise I have to go to each events Video Media Events Window & click the button top right.

I'm just playing with RGB, note the three primary colours have been stretched & it's hard to see but there's the ▼ in the middle saying it's looped.

@Gid Yes, that is not the complete script. That is the exact part of the code that would adjust the length to match. You have to add all of the additional code to "find" the events and even the extra "start up" code:
