I recently completed a project for a client, and while it's nearly finalized, I’m personally not satisfied with the goat’s head movement. I initially used masking and deform FX, but the results weren’t as smooth as I wanted.
Normally, I rely on mesh wrap for these types of organic movements, but in this case, the object is quite small, and I’m facing issues with snapping and lack of smoothness in mesh points. This is making the animation feel less fluid than I’d like.
I’m considering alternative methods to refine the movement, something similar to the Puppet Tool in After Effects for better control. Has anyone faced a similar issue? What would you recommend for achieving smoother, more natural deformations in a scenario like this?
