Hi,

I need advice on a motherboard for dual-core Intel or Core 2 duo that is compatible with Vegas. The reason for asking is that I have had 2 genuie Intelboards that made small skips every 5-10 min. in playbackmonitor even at low res. This was on 2 PC's with 925 based boards. All other hardware was different, and it was even not exactly the same board. I recently tried to mix hardware of the two, but still the same. Have tried both ver. 6d and 7a.

Well I did upgrade one of them with an Asus P5WD2 Prem. and a Dualcore 3.4 and it runs so far w/o probs, but I want to upgrade the other one too.

I have been looking at the intel:

I would apreciate input on this matter very much, before I go and upgrade my other Vegas PC, so that I will not waste money again.

I have a ATI X800GTO2 and 1.5 GB DDR2 Ram to go with it from the old machine, and 3 sata disks 2, one for system and 2 in stripeset for capture and render etc.
