Need help integrating Sound Forge with Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17

Hi everyone,

I'm a relative newbie to Vegas Movie Studio and a total newbie to Sound Forge (and DAW's in general, although I understand the concepts, having recorded audio for many years). I bought VMS Platinum 17 partially because it came bundled with Sound Forge Audio 14. I'm working on a video project and am getting to a place where I need to export the audio tracks into Sound Forge, work with them there, and then export back to Vegas. As I haven't done this before, I'm wondering if anyone can point me to some good tutorials on this subject, or explain in some detail how it works. I'm unsure about things like what format to use, coming out of Vegas and back into Vegas, etc. I'd appreciate any help you can provide!

You have to set in Options/Preferences/Audio soundforge .exe as the preferred audio editor.
