need help licensing music...

I have a big production coming in September and I need to get a license for a few Glenn Miller tunes from the early 40's.

The problem is that I have NO clue on the steps I need to take or how much this is going to cost...all I know is that I have to get it done before September.

Can anybody give me a bit of advice...

If you are in the US, contact the Harry Fox Agency. Give them the title and c omposer's name. If you live outside the US find out what is the Reproduction Rights agency of your country.
