Need shadow when using 3D source alpha

I'm new to Vegas(6) so please forgive me if this is a basic question. :-) I've been trying to find a way to have a shadow when the image is rotated(using track motion with 3D Source Alpha) but no luck. This is a fairly common thing to have a PIP with perspective so I know I must be missing something. Thanks.

Add a new track above, in the master /parent track motion, set up a shadow. Parent the top track to all subsequent tracks. That'll turn the trick.

Thanks for the quick reply. I see what I was doing wrong- I was trying to add the shadow to the Track Motion, not the Parent Track Motion(hadn't discovered that little choice button yet since I never tried just parenting an empty track). Of course I couldn't since I was using the 3D alpha. Can you see my big grin? It does just what I needed. :-)))) Vegas is definitely different in how some of this compositing works but I have to admit that it is very flexible. I can see I'm going to have a lot of fun ahead. Thanks again!
