Need some help

I am using Vegas 6 and the event fx are not working.I tried also on the track fx and the fx are still not working. Anybody have any tips?

I also have Vegas Platinum 8 on the same machine, and I tried to use the fx in it and they work. Any ideas????

Never mind, I figured out what it was.I had the Split Screen Preview turned on.
