The problem is video capture support under NT 4 - I don't think its a
Vegas issue at all - unless you've got a screwed up install or an ill
PC.

There are only a couple of very expensive cards (that I'm aware of
anyway) that will do video under NT 4. You are better of with Win2k
or 98 SE.

"Sonic Foundry Video Capture 2.0" is available on the SF website for
free. Under NT, you'll be able to do basic MJPEG capture with
DirectShow compatible capture cards using the Video Capture tool,
plus you'll get external monitor support in Vegas. Microsoft does not
support much DV functionality under NT- nothing we can do about this.
If you really need the OHCI DV features (device control, capture,
external monitor) you'll have to run Win98SE or Win 2K.
