Neoscene trial crippled Vegas 8.0c

-- Installed NeoScene trial.
-- Created some files.
-- Played fine in WMP, video won't open in Vegas 8.0c ("Stream attributes could not be determined").
-- Rendered a file in Vegas with Cineform.
-- File plays fine in WMP, won't open the video in Vegas. Same message.
-- Did a repair installation of Vegas. No joy.
-- Uninstalled Neoscene trial. Did another repair installation of Vegas. No joy.
-- Uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas. Reregistered. Everything back to normal. All Cineform files now open in Vegas.

This shouldn't have happened.

You have to protect the cfhd.dll files. Went through this mess a couple years ago. I don't fool with Cineform any longer. It's ok, but just not for me.
