Nero Disc Image files

I have a bunch of .nrg files that I used to create video DVD's in Nero. I would like to create .mp4 of all the files. I don't have the physical discs nor the Nero software to create the discs. I see there is software out there that (I think) will convert the .nrg to a standard ISO format. I really don't want to create physical discs. Is there a way to go from .nrg (or ISO) file to .mp4 using Vegas 13 or other (free) software?

DVD .ISO is no problem. Just mount with say Virtual CloneDrive. Then copy and concatenate the VOB files for the main feature (discussed here in this forum ad nauseum) to create an MPEG2 file. Then convert to MP4 if you want with say Handbrake.

.nrg is Nero's proprietary format. VCD may be able to read it. If not other software can read it or convert it.
