nested project properties

Hey all,

If I have a nested master project with three child projects, and I want to set deinterlace to "interpolate" for the entire project, can I set that once in the master project? Or do I need to also (or exclusively) set that in each child project?

I know this ain't the sexiest topic, but can anyone speak to this? Just curious as to the relationship between master and child projects as it relates to project properties. Does one override the other? The manual provides no insight.

Just wondering if there's a metaphor that explains how this container-object relationship works. Is it similar to an OO model? Does one object inherit the properties of the other?
