Nested project question

I have a nested project and I only want to loop the region selected in the master project. Is there a switch for this, so that i don't have to render.

You could split that sequence out and butt it together to loop. A nested project is still a single video event to Vegas, so treat it just like any other video event, cut/copy/paste/add FX/etc.

Try trimming the nested to the desired length then right click the event and "create subclip." do the same for the audio track or it will not loop unless it's a subclip too.
