I'm having an issue with a project opening in Vegas Pro 15. I have a nested project that I added to another and have opened/closed it a number of times without issue. Now it will not open. If I open the video project it shows the nested project render then it just "clocks" saying building peaks then not responding. I really do not know what to do at this point.

Maybe open the nested project on its own, save it under another file name into a new file, rename the original, open the project with the other project nested in it... it won't be able to find your nested project and will ask for a new location or source file. Point it to the new file you saved. Just an idea.
Move or re-post this query to the Vegas Pro Video page. This is Vegas Audio, so there is not many views. (No one cares about audio except when it's bad or missing.)
That said, try re-inserting the nested segment and save-as with an alternate name. You may want to 'Clean Project Media' in the 'Tools' menu as well.
