Network render with 5.0B

hi all
I have been network rendering with vegas 5 for a while and had no problems. i upgraded my copy of Vegas to 5.0b and I now cannot network render. When I try and do this it just says there is an internal error in the service. Has anyone else had this problem? I wold like to get this working as in 5.0b it allows you to specify where the temp files are put which would have beneficial issues with the bandwidth in my system.

1 To recap I had 5.0 and the render client from that install CD
2 I installed 5.0b from the file from the internet. I did not touch the render client
3 It then didnt work until I uninstalled and used 5.0 again

Any help would be gratefully received

Cheers
Richard

All versions used in network rendering should be identical ( 5.0b), don't mix them.

Thanks for the reply SonyEPM.
Where can i get the 5.0b network client. I got the upgrade off the web site (http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/download/step2.asp?DID=496) but cannot see anything about the render client for 5.0b

Install 5.0b on all machines after uninstalling previous versions of Vegas 5. That's all there is to it, the separate service installer no longer exists.

From the 5.0b release notes:

"The Vegas Network Render Service no longer uses a unique installer. If you use the Network Rendering Service, you may install Vegas software on up to three computers (your registered editing computer and up to two other computers used for network rendering only) as specifically defined by the software license agreement. You must use the same information (serial number and registration information) on all computers.
If you need to purchase additional licenses, please contact our Customer Service department. "
