Network Rendering

I am with the few that are having network rendering issues. My first attempt worked!!! Label: Finished Render Job: I:\johnson\tarnacki7test.avi But when I really tried to get things to work, I received: Error: Render job 'dvsc1:53704/6' failed: Project not found: 'I:\johnson\tarnacki7_1-VO.veg'. I installed and registered on both computers, input the ip addresses, created a share. By the error message above Vegas 7 seems to be appending a _1-VO (that is not part of te original file) Anyone seen this?

What network render settings were different for your second attempt? Was the first attempt not a distributed render? Did you use the same project both times?

The VO is appended to the name of the "Video Only" version of the project that is saved for distributed network renders. This is the version of the project that renderers use to render the video segments.

I changed nothing, I promise. I was so excited to see that it worked (when I selected 20 or so seconds). I chose a longer region to be network rendered, that's when it failed. Same project/same computers. What does it mean when it can not find _VO? Does Vegas really save a file with this name?
