Network Rendering--Black Files, Help.

Hi, My Network rendering (non-distributed) is happily plugging along but the output is pure black/no sound. I'm going from AVI files and trying to net-render to MOV files. Works fine if I render 'locally' but on the network i'm getting nothing but blacked out video and no sound.

Ideas?

Is Quicktime authoring installed on all network machines?I've never tried to render to .mov over the network but first place I'd look is for QT authoring being installed, and having all codecs installed on all machines.

Sounds good. What is a sure fire way of testing Network Rendering? Pure AVI files...something where plugins/codecs/etc is less of an issue...

I'd test with AVI's, yes. Then it's easier to track down.
