New 720P "Black friday" tv

Just wondering on how to bext connect this 32" to my computer. I have it connected via firewire/composite and external preview turned on (standard def projects right now) and still seeing dome interlacing on my progressive footage (letting vegas deinterlace it). Should I use the vga port or will I still see interlacing until I go to HD?

does your vid card have DVI out? You could use that (might need a DVI to HDMI adapter).

VGA would work but (i'm told) it's not as high quality as DVI/HDMI.

If your project is set to progressive then it shouldn't send progressive to the TV unless the output card is telling it to. Not sure why it would: you're using one of those analog/digital converters I assume? i've never tried progressive with one of those.
