Your message is too vague to give a specific answer. Using NewBlue FX is no different than using any Sony FX. So questions:

1. Are you trying to use a transition, or a video fx?

2. Are you familiar with using any Sony transition or fx? If the answer is no, start by going through the "Show Me How" tutorials. They are very good! Also look at Sony's web site for some Vegas training videos. Here's a link for some third party Vegas Movie Studio Tutorials

3. If you still continue to have problems. Please post a very specific question about a specific transition or fx.

Welcome to the world of SVMS and good luck!

[EDIT: add Sony's Vegas training URL]

In order to install Newblue FX, you must run the file vmspe8_videofx.exe. During the installation, you must fill in your licence number, which is in the email received after placing the order.

I just installed these too and wasn't sure where they were in moviestudio.

Once installed properly you'll find them in the Video FX tab and then you'll probablly have to scroll down to see them since they start with "N" and the list is alpha sorted.
