New audio solution from Presonus

Came across this just by chance a couple of days ago. I know a few here shoot live concerts and the options on the audio side are expanded with the Presonus StudioLive.

If you need more than 32 tracks, well you probably wouldn't be here anyway :) Only thing missing is world clock, still I don't find it that much of a chore to get sync back in Vegas and as I can't afford a couple of cameras with timecode inputs nor a TC / world clock generator it's kind of academic.

For anyone grappling with the challenges of editing and mixing multitrack audio and multiple cameras I've had a bit of a break through thanks to Peter (SonyPCH) from the audio forum, link below:

Seems a bit pricey for what it does.
Lots of front-end features, yes, but no T/C as you mentioned, and only 44/48 sampling?

Street price seems to be around $2K, the offering from A&H might now come down a bit in price. Latest firmware lets you gang two mixers for 32 mic ins, more than enough for most.
If you can think of a cheaper way to get a FOH mixer and record all the inputs in a convenient package I'm all ears.

Agree the sample rate / bit depth isn't so hot, probably due to the firewire 400 interface.
