new blue fx with movie studio platinum 12 and pro 14

Hi to all professionels!

Im completeley new to this forum, my english is not the best, so pls be gentle!

I´ve used movie studio platinum many years (latest vers. 12), for my videos it was def. enough. Last year I switched to vegas pro 14, now I´m wondering where all the nice title effects are gone. I tried to figure it out by myself, but I´m not getting it. Its all about this new blueFX, isn´t it?

Right now in Vegas Pro I have something called like "New blueTilter FX", its made for nothing!!! My Movie Studio Platinum version does offers (offered) a "real" titler: I could do everything with it!!!!

How can I get it back?

Like VPro has VMS more than one titler, which one do you mean (screenshot?)

I dont now. I´ve used VMS many years, I´ve just clicked on the "media generator" and I could do "everything" - a real titler for me!

Now I am using Vegas Pro 14 (it came with a bundle called "titler pro" (dont know the version of it) and I thought: this is it! But now I only have roundabout 20 fixed templates (I can edit the text, that´s all), thats it!

I have searched already in the www, an interesting answer by Magix was that this (what I´v bought) is only a title EDITOR, no tiltler MAKER!

Im really dissapointet. I´ve spent something like 500 EUR to get a PRO version, ther is no advantage for me instead of my old Movies Studio Version (where I had an real titler)...

Different versions of Vegas & Movie Studio have come with different versions of Titler. Movie Studio 12 came with TitlerEx which was a very limited version but did let you create your own titles from scratch. Vegas Pro 14 standard came with Titler Pro Express which lets you choose a template and change the text/image as needed. Vegas Pro 14 Suite came with Titler Pro 3 which will let you create your own titles with many more features than found in TitlerEx.

Without knowing exactly which version(s) you purchased, it's hard to say exactly what you received but it sounds like you must have purchased the standard version where you really wanted the Suite version. You can also upgrade to Titler Pro 6 which will work in both versions and give you all of the available features.
