New Blue Reinstall

Glenn_G wrote on 11/2/2023, 4:52 AM

I'm looking at this document as I need to reinstall some NewBlue effects.

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/support/article/how-to-reinstall-newblue-plugins--1682/

Near the bottom, it says

Start the application and click on "Effects" --> "Additional Effects".

What does this mean (what application/where do I do this)?

You need the New Blue installer to install their effects as it adds files to specific locations. You should already have this if you previously installed these effects, if not obtain it from New Blue.

You can log into your NBFX account and see all the registered software that you own with serial numbers, how many activations, and download links.

Glenn, as was mentioned, you need the NewBlue installer for the effects package you're trying to install. That page apparently is telling you how to do a "clean install" by uninstalling the old plugins, removing any remaining files, and removing any remaining registry entries. I have no idea what was meant by effects - additional effects either but they did include a link to the current products. If you need the older legacy products, they can be found here: https://newbluefx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000796746-All-Legacy-Products

If you still need help, please contact NewBlue support.
