New Blue Titler in Platinum 13

I just started to work with the New Blue Titler in Platinum 13 and find that it is the New Blue Titler EX version. That means it does not have such things, I do not think, as key framing. I separately purchased the NewBlue Titler Pro 3 which has many additional features. Is there any way that I can update the onboard titler to the Pro 3 version? I can use the Pro 13 as a stand alone but it is not the same as working with my own video on one time line. Thank you.

If you bought the Pro version from NewBlueFX, you should see NewBlue Titler EX and NewBlueTitler Pro 3 in the Media Generator panel. If you don't, you may want to try to re-run the installer for Titler Pro and make sure that you installed the Titler plugin for Vegas.

Markk655 -- Thank you for your thoughts. I had installed Pro3 on 20 April and 13 on 28 April. So I uninstalled Pro 3 and reinstalled. However, I did not see where I had any option to select a plug in. Could you give me a clue as you think it might be. Tank you.

Yours is a good thought... You would need Movie Studio installed first so Titler knows where to put the plugin. Try installing again and see if there is a custom install button. You may also want to make sure that you have the most up to date installer by downloading the trial at the NBFX website and then adding in your serial number.

Another thought. Do you see Titler Pro listed under Movie Studio VideoFX tab? You should see both EX and Titler 3 Pro there.

One more thought, perhaps you need a clean install of Titler?

Last thought (for now) - NBFX tech support is amazing and fast....Put in a support ticket and they might have the answer right at the top of their heads. :)

Yes, the bundled version of Titler in Move Studio is TitlerEx which is a limited version that does not have some things - such as keyframing.

Titler Pro 3 is 64-bit only so make sure you're on the 64-bit version of Movie Studio. Once installed, it will appear in the Media Generators tab (and VideoFX tab) the same as TitlerEx does.
