New Blue Titler Pro 5

Does anyone else find this titler very annoying. It's very clunky, opens two boxes on the workspace and I find I'm not getting on with it more & more. Also the upgrade to version 6 is about$600! What do you use most.

I'm using Titler Pro 6 with Vegas Pro 17 and I wouldn't be without it. Admittedly, it has it's quirks and it works better if you have two monitors but, once you get used to it (and it's quirks) it can make your videos look very professional. I use a lot of lower thirds in my videos and it's ideal for these. Over the years I've learned little tricks to speed up my workflow. I should stick with version 5 if I were you, I don't think you get much more with 6. Version 5 has multi-title management and elastic timeline (I think) and these two features, in my opinion, are the most important. Keep at it, you won't regret it.

I bought Titler Pro 5 after using Titler Express that came with VP14. I used that quite a bit mostly for quick thirds but then true to form it didnt work in the next vegas version. I agree it is clunky and not easy to use but does make some very proffesional looking titles given enough effort. I thought there would be more included templates for me to modify, building from scratch is a lot of work. I've never really mastered it or got my money's worth. I use Protype titler most for quick captions.

When NewBlue changed the UI in 5 (I think) I left Titler altogether. I don't need much for my titles.

It just shows doesn't it. It's all a matter of opinion.

I've never been able to get it to work right... It would always crash, and seeing that almost a year after launch it was still at version 1.0, with no updates dropped, turned me away from it. For that price, you can buy Vegas Post and do WAY more.

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10
