Editing software has little to do with the model camera. So long as it records to tape and has a firewire (also called ieee 1394) it will work. All capture really is, is a file transfer of minimaly compressed DV AVI files from the tape to the hard drive. The problem is with DVD cameras that record in the already compressed MPEG format and with AC3 sound. These have to be converted back to AVI before they can be edited.
You dont even have to "capyure " with MS, You can use any capturing software.
