I recently had to retire my Marantz 620 and buy a new cdr.
So I got the Sony CRX140S Maximum performance SCSI
CDR/rw.8X/4X/32X I do have the latest update for my CD
architect. (as of DEC.2,1999) I have a P450 with 128mb
ram. But the sony will not work as a CDR. It recognises it
as a CDrom and will access it as such, but will not do a
complete burn. It does not automatically recognise it and
when you select it manually, it acts like it is going to
work. The burn light comes on and after about 5 to 10 secs.
it prompts you saying something else is using the drive or
you stop the drive. It works fine in the software that
came with it. Which is not very good. Also it does not work
or even acknoledge it in Easy CD Creator either. I've
contacted tech support via E-mail. But I have a commercial
recording studio that is booked solid and very little time
to play with. So if you can help me I'd appreciate it. Even
if the solution is to buy another CDR. My only problem is
finding one compatible that I can get quickly and around
$400 or so. Thanks
