New Computer for Vegas 9/Neo HD/5dMarkii?

Will the following computer run Cineform Neo HD avi's in Vegas 9 at the full 29.97 fps?

The price of the computer is $2240 (with the 3 year extended service plan) but I can get it cheaper as I have a relative at HP. I will also be adding a 2nd hard drive after I get it. I could also go ahead and get a 1TB RAID 0 (2 x 500GB SATA HDDs) instead of the single 1.5TB for the same price. Would that work better?

Any other options? Any laptops that might work for my needs?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The Core i7 system are awesome, that will be a very fast system. Make sure the memory is in tripple channel configuration (the 5 DIMM seems confusing -- it should be 6.)

you are better off building one than buying from HP/Dell etc - they are too limiting in the ability to expand later and so become obsolete quicker, not to mention you will save some money building your own.

don't use Raid 0 for storage or an operating system - you have twice the probability of loosing a drive. If you got that route you need a single disc too for a back up drive.
