New Delta 1010 drivers FINALLY work!

Sorry if this has been covered already. M-Audio has released new WIN 2K/XP drivers for the Delta 1010, and they finally work. The build is dated 11/28/2001. For the first time , I don't hear ANY crackling or static at the beginning or end of files...nothing. The documentation mentions a VIA chipset fix...so ASUS users should finally be in business. It also mentions low latency under XP. Maybe someone who is running their 1010 with XP can confirm that latency has been improved.

Here's the download for the drivers:

Hope that helps!

now if they fix their midisport drivers for win2l/xp so you can use more than one on a single machine...

Hmm. I wish I could say the same. I get a freeze at the beginning of playback with the new drivers in win2k. They're fine in XP but in 2k my cursor starts to play and then stops and then a couple aof seconds later it's fine. Anyone else see this with Vegas 3?

I called M-Audio on running multiple 1010's. They said two was no problem...but they sort of cautioned against running more than two. I'd sure like to have 24 in's at my disposal for live work. Perhaps the new drivers have addressed this?
