New Deshaker. Different drives for in- / outfiles?

I'm just deshaking some 300 clips.
It works well with the script New Deshaker but as the script places the multi GB in000xx and out000xx files in the same folder the disk is working overtime.
If it were possible to place th in- and output files on different diskdrives the process in VirtualDub would run much faster.
Right now a catch of 300+ clips normally lasts 25-30 hours on my 2 x quad Xeon machine.
Could one of the script gurus here change this?? please.

Eh? I am real sure the NewDeshaker, with its easy to follow GUI front-end, allows me to place output where I want.

Yes. You are perfectly right - that is - you can only specify one folder and there NewDeshaker puts both the inxxx and the outxxx file.

The problem occurs as the files (oncompressed AVI) are many GB each and so the Deshaker has to read GBs from one file while - at the same time - it's writing GBs to a file on the same harddisk.
