New DVD Player looses audio sync

I have a video that I made last year that worked fine on our old DVD player. The old player finally quit so we bought a new sony.

DVD's play fine and other VCD's seem ok. But this one certain VCD which has many edits, looses audio sync about half way through. I even tried buring to a new disc and it fails the same way.

Otherwise I like the player. Any ideas before I return it?

Take a look at vcdhelp.com. From there you can find your DVD player, and a compatability list. Sometimes the players are funny about what they want to play.

Example: For my old Sony player, I need to use CD-RW disks to play VCD's.
